Amy Dangelmayr

RN, MSN, FNP-C

Amy Dangelmayr is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner whose career is defined by a deep commitment to her hometown and a passion for preventative medicine. As the founder of Muenster Family Medical, she has spent over a decade establishing a clinical environment where quality healthcare and patient partnership are the top priorities.

Amy’s academic foundation began at Grayson County College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1998. She continued her education at Texas Women's University, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2008. Before transitioning into family practice, Amy spent ten years as a Registered Nurse in Denton, specializing in the high-acuity environments of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

In 2011, after two years of practice at Nocona Family Medical Clinic, Amy realized her vision of bringing advanced, compassionate care back to her roots. She opened Muenster Family Medical to serve the residents of Muenster and the surrounding rural communities, focusing on disease prevention and helping individuals and families achieve their long-term health goals.

Outside the Clinic: Amy and her husband, Darrell, are proud residents of Muenster and the parents of three children: Natalie, Stephen, and Kinley. When she isn’t at the clinic, Amy loves being immersed in nature and traveling. Most often, you can find her on the sidelines or in the audience, traveling to watch her children compete and chase their dreams.
